Corrections and retractions
Corrections and retractions
We do not silently overwrite errors. The same article URL discloses what changed, when it changed, and why.
Correction
When a material fact changes, we preserve the modification date, a public correction notice, and supporting source references. The title, summary, body, and feed are updated together.
Retraction
If trust is materially compromised or continued publication is inappropriate, the original text is replaced with the retraction reason and history. A retracted article is not presented as a new feed item.
This page has no report form or file upload. A corrections email is published only after its receiving route is verified.
