Guide

At a glance

Do not make a university decision from one search result. Start with Study in Korea to find universities, programs, and scholarships. Use AcademyInfo to understand disclosure data and its reference period. Then confirm every application condition in the university's latest official notice.

Step 1: Build a broad shortlist

The Study in Korea search, operated by the National Institute for International Education, is a starting point for university, course, and scholarship information for international students. It can narrow results by study level, region, institution type, English-taught courses, and other filters. The page also says the information comes from universities and may not include every institution.

Step 2: Read the disclosure context

AcademyInfo organizes university disclosures on operations, students, faculty, research, finances, and educational conditions. When comparing a figure, check its reporting unit, reference date, and scope as well as the value. Figures from different years or definitions may not be directly comparable.

Step 3: Confirm the current university notice

For application deadlines, required documents, language rules, and scholarship conditions, use the current admission guide and international-office notice published by the university. A portal description or older disclosure does not guarantee present eligibility or admission.

What this cannot establish

This article does not determine a university's current admission rules, an individual's admission prospects, visa eligibility, or scholarship outcome. A similarly named program may have a different scope by university, term, or course.

Reporting method and AI use

Uni News Korea checked two official public pages directly and recorded content hashes. AI assisted with source organization, the claim list, and the Korean and English drafts. No interview or private material was used. A human editor reviewed accuracy, fairness, clarity, source fit, AI-use disclosure, and Korean-English meaning parity.

What readers should do

After finding a university, cross-check relevant information in both official services. Before applying, check the date and applicable term of the university's latest notice. Base important decisions on the current admission guide, not on a search-result summary.
